The Service Program of the Year award is presented to the Chapter that has made the most significant contribution toward the Cardinal Principle of Service.

The Leader of the Year award is presented to the individual who made the most significant contribution toward the Cardinal Principle of Leadership.

Sectional Distinguished Service Key:
The Sectional Distinguished Service Key, the highest award which can be presented by Section 51, recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves in their outstanding contributions at a sectional level to Section 51 and exemplify the three Cardinal Principles of Alpha Phi Omega.

- Chapter of Excellence (COE) Award and Pledge Program of Excellence (PPOE) Award - Recognizes those chapters whose programs of Leadership, Friendship and Service promote growth, retention and stability for the active chapter, while providing a positive, inviting and educational environment for prospective and new members. - Josiah Frank National Historians Award - The chapter compiling and maintaining the best chapter history records and perpetuates the principles and traditions of Alpha Phi Omega will be presented a plaque featuring the first Fraternity pin biennially at each National Convention. More info…
- Herbert G. Horton Service to Youth Award - Awarded to an active, alumni, advisory or honorary brother who has made a significant contribution to the youth of their community through scouting and/or another youth service organization and who has worked to strengthen the relationship between Alpha Phi Omega and the youth service organization at a local, regional, state and/or national level. - Phyllis C. Tenney Excellence in Advising Award - This award recognizes service of an exemplary level over a substantial period of time to an individual chapter in the role of advisor. More info…
- National Distinguished Service Key – The Fraternity’s highest distinction, this award recognizes brothers for outstanding service to the Fraternity on the national level, above and beyond the call of duty. More info…
- National Alumni Distinguished Service Key - Recognizes those alumni who have continued to further the principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service beyond their college years in exceptional ways. More info…
- Regional Distinguished Service Key - A region’s highest distinction, this regional key is given in recognition to members for outstanding service to the Fraternity. More info…
- Bobby Hainline Inter-Chapter Activities Award - Presented annually to a brother or chapter who has done an outstanding job in promoting activities and interaction among the Alpha Phi Omega chapters in Region VI. The criteria: • The activities were readily promoted to the chapters in Region VI. • The activities had participation by brothers of chapters in Region VI. This participation may be at one site(e.g. a region-wide service project held at one location) or at many sites (e.g. one chapter road-tripping to other chapters in the region during vacation). • The activities helped strengthen one or more of the three cardinal principles of APO: Leadership, Friendship, and Service. This award is presented to a single chapter. The nominees are considered against one another based upon the written nomination.

- Berkeley P. Duncan Service Award - Awarded annually to the chapter in Region VI of Alpha Phi Omega that has done the most to promote service on a regional level. The criteria for this award are: • The service project(s) was (were) original and/or fun. • The service project(s) was (were) readily promoted to the chapters in Region VI. • The service project(s) attracted participation by brothers of chapters in Region VI in addition to the host chapter. • This award is presented to a single chapter. The nominees are considered against one another, based upon the written nomination.
