Graduating Seniors:
While Alpha Phi Omega is a collegiate fraternity, membership is for life. There are a variety of ways for you to continue your affiliation with APO beyond your college years:
Become part of the APO Volunteer Staff - No matter where you may end up, there are sections and regions in need of new alumni to help support chapters and programs across the fraternity. Time commitments vary from a couple of hours a month to a few hours a week. Interesting in joining the Section 51 Staff? Email the Section 51 Chair at [email protected].
Take the Basic Skills Course - The basic skills course is the beginning of a serious preparing brothers to become LEADS course presenters. The Basic Skills Course is typically available at sectional, regional, and national conferences.

The weekend-long conference offers the chance for training, feedback opportunities with the Board of Directors, and networking with alumni from across the country.
Get involved with an Alumni Association - Want to stay in touch with APO but aren't ready or interested in being an Alumni Volunteer? There are several alumni associations around the country that act much like a chapter, just for graduated members. In our immediate area, there is the Chicagoland Area Alumni Association, a recently-formed Gateway Alumni Association in St. Louis, and there will be soon be a Central Illinois Alumni Association.
Join the Society of Life Members - All soon-to-be alumni are strongly encouraged to become part of the Society of Life Members A one-time donation ($50 for students and recent graduates, $100 for alumni) to the fraternity's endowment trust will enroll you in the society, help the fraternity and your chapter be able to get in contact with you for major events, and ensure the safety and security of Alpha Phi Omega. Those who donate receive a special membership pin, a lifetime subscription to the Torch and Trefoil, a special membership certificate and ID card, recognition and discounts at many conferences and events, and the knowledge that they've helped support APO's financial stability.
